Mark Keegan – Managing Director
Mark Keegan sees his role as a holistic one; to support a team of world class security experts, who are open to growth and who continuously apply open thinking by adapting solutions that work. He is the Founder and Managing Director of SEQA Limited.
Mark has been involved in the New Zealand information security community for over 15 years. During this time he has established a diverse network of talented security professionals who are like minded about making New Zealand a trustworthy place to do business.
After studying a Bachelor of Business and Information Management he quickly moved into architecting and developing systems. He was a member of the founding team of another award-winning security firm. His work included all aspects of the business including technical security consulting, business development and practice management.
Mark enjoys crafting real-world solutions that solve IT security challenges.
For fun, it’s mountain biking on New Zealand’s single tracks, the challenge of the golf swing and supporting his three teenage boys. He also enjoys sharing a coffee with like minded professionals.

Debasis Mohanty – Head of Technical Services
Debasis is a well-rounded professional with 15+ years of insightful experience in IT Security and Management. A natural hacker with strong leadership skills, Debasis has headed operations across multiple Information Security domains covering areas such as Security Assessments, Vulnerability Research, Secure SDLC Management and Security Training. He has also worked within multiple industry sectors such as various Technology, AeroSpace and Defense companies and multiple security consulting firms.
Although not limited to these areas, Debasis specialises in application security, infrastructure security; exploit development; and reverse engineering. He has also made several contributions towards the security community in the form of tools, exploits and whitepapers, including a popular Microsoft Windows exploit (MS08-067) which is still used frequently by penetration testers.
Debasis is originally from India and relocated to New Zealand with his wife and son. In his free time, he is a keen photographer, and tries to hone his skills whenever he gets the opportunity.
Rajesh Ravji – Head of Sales
Rajesh is responsible for establishing sustainable growth at SEQA by providing clients Security services that are integrated into their Quality Assurance programmes.
With over 20 years in key account management roles in various industries including ICT, government, and financial services, Rajesh’s sales and account management experience within the enterprise and government business segments means he has an established history in client driven outcomes.
Rajesh has a strong focus on understanding the critical success factors of his clients, taking their problems and providing them with solutions to create win-win outcomes for key stakeholders.
Rajesh enjoys mixing with a number of different community groups, X-training across multiple sporting codes, and tries hard to keep up with his kids.
Reg Prasad – Director
With over 15 years knowledge and expertise in quality and consulting across multiple sectors that has included Telco, Banking, Dairy industry, Government, Global Management Consulting, Gaming and much more, Reg brings solid advisory capability to the SEQA board.
As a certified management consultant, Reg’s strong suit lies in providing strategic direction with attention to detail, a results-driven approach and innovative offerings that deliver on quality. Reg’s passion is in successfully delivering resultas that meet the business objectives for his clients.
Reg is GM – Advisory and Solutions and heads up Consulting at Qual IT.
In his spare time, Reg loves travelling, sports, cars and photography. Discovering new countries and immersing himself in the richness of culture, food and remarkable photographic scenes are the main highlights.
Andrew Johnston – Director
More than 20 years of global business advisory and management expertise makes Andrew well placed to serve on the SEQA board.
Andrew marries his skills as a Chartered Accountant with his passion for operational excellence to ensure SEQA meets its strategic and business goals.
Andrew is SEQA’s Chief Financial Officer.
AJ is an avid cyclist and can often be seen pounding the streets of Wellington or tearing up the mountain bike tracks close by.
Ray Philpott – Chairman
Ray, SEQA’s Board Chairman, is a prominent figure within the IT industry.
His extensive experience includes founding his own development and software licencing company, and prior to that he held the position of Global CEO of an international financial services company. With his solid background in operational management, Ray brings an independent perspective to SEQA’s strategic and business objectives.
When he is not offering up consulting and advisory services he can be found in his workshop on his Kapiti Coast lifestyle block or seeking the true meaning of the word “retirement”.
